How long are Somatic Experiencing sessions?

Sessions are 60 minutes long. With that being said, I always book an additional 15 minutes of time in case we need it to bring our process to completion. I try to ensure your nervous system is feeling grounded and present before we say goodbye.

How much do sessions cost? How do I pay?

Session cost $150 USD each, or $540 for a pack of four sessions (save 10%).

I accept payment via Venmo, PayPal, CashApp, Zelle, cash or check.

Do you offer a sliding scale?

I try to keep space on my schedule for clients who pay an adjusted rate of $100. Please contact me to discuss this option. Discounted payment is based on the honor system. My hope is that if you are financially able to pay my full rate, you will choose to do so. This ensures my ability to make Somatic Experiencing accessible to everyone, compensates me for my expertise and helps offset the cost of my continuing education.

How many sessions will I need?

Like any method for healing and personal growth, you will decide how much SE is the right amount for you. I find most folks partake in at least four sessions. Four sessions allow us to build rapport and help your nervous system build consistency and rhythm with your SE practice. You may find tools and relief after just a single session, or you may choose to integrate SE into your life for years.

What do I need for an SE session on Zoom?

​

All my sessions are offered via video or over the phone. For video sessions, you will need to download the Zoom app on your phone OR simply open the link I will send you on your computer. You will need a working microphone, speaker and webcam. I invite you to be in a quiet, private, comfortable place for your SE session. Though we may move around during the session, we will start seated on a chair or other comfy place.

(For SE students) Are you qualified to provide personal sessions toward my SE certificate?

​

Yes. I am currently approved through Somatic Experiencing International to provide Personal SE Sessions at the Beginning Level for SE students.
